Meeting with Dr. Ahmed Djoghlaf, Executive Secretary of the CBD:
Executive Secretary Ahmed Djoghlaf addressed the business delegation on 22 May, International Biodiversity Day. Stressing that business was one of the most important stakeholders in the CBD, he said that its engagement was increasingly appreciated by the parties to the Convention. Dr Djoghlaf also invited the co-chairs of the ICC Task Force on the CBD, Annik Dollacker and Michael Hauser, for a separate meeting to discuss business engagement in the Convention.
