How does it work?
The Commission examines major policy issues of interest to world business. The commission has more than 130 members. Observers include representatives of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), International Bar Association (IBA), the International Stock Exchange Federation (FIBV), the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD (BIAC) and the Union of Industries of the European Community (UNICE).
The Commission meets twice a year. Each national committee (NC) or group may appoint delegates to represent it at meetings. Officers of the Commission are appointed by the Chairman and Secretary General in consultation with NCs.
