The World Chambers Federation provide the global forum for chambers of commerce, focusing on the exchange of best practice and experiences, the building of personal relationships, and the development of new products/services to support chambers at a local level. |
The 2010 WCF Programme of action of Certificates of Origin is to:
- Based upon WCF International
CO Guidelines:
- Expand online advice and education for chambers in
delivering COs
- Set up an international structure to support chambers
delivering COs
- Foster closer working rapport with WCO,
WTO and EU
- Encourage
the expansion of the public private sector partnership between Customs and chambers
in the delivery of preferential certificates of origin
- Establish
a focus group of WCF CO Task Force on
Electronic Certificates of Origin (ECOs)
- Convince
Chambers of Commerce on the necessity to ensure their authority to deliver CO
by the creation of an International Chain.
